Is something missing from your life? Are you searching for God? Have you been thinking about becoming Catholic? Have you not completed your Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist)?
If so, Saint Luke Parish offers processes through which people can learn what the Catholic Church believes, teaches, and strives to live-out in the world. The first step in the process is called Inquiry. It’s a time when inquirers explore the basics of the faith and meet people that can help them with the process. If after a time, inquirers feel that membership in the Catholic Church is something desirable, they can continue the process of preparation to receive the Sacraments of Initiation.
ADULT CONFIRMATION
Saint Luke Parish prepares adults to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation twice each year. The process requires about 10 facilitated meetings that begin in about March for May Confirmation and September for November Confirmation. Adult Confirmation is celebrated at the Cathedral of St Joseph in Hartford.
